Youth Support Specialist

Hiring a dedicated Youth Support Specialist to join our team at a reputable Special Needs School in Chelmsford.
Role Overview: As a Youth Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
- Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs.
- Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
About School: Catering for children and young people aged 3 to 19 who have a range of complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs.
Key Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory).
- Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position).
