About this Opportunity

Polaris is an independent specialist provision serving children and young people in the East Midlands who live with their families. We are seeking a motivated and experienced teacher to join our team as a Primary School SEN Class Teacher.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and will be able to inspire and motivate students with special educational needs. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students with special educational needs in a primary school setting
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of up to £37,500 per annum plus a SEN allowance of £2,679. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including company pension, life assurance, and employee discount scheme. Our location is Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, in the heart of the East Midlands region. This position is full-time and term-time only.

Estimated Salary: Up to £40,179 per annum (£37,500 + £2,679 SEN allowance)
