Join Our Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join our team in NG1, Nottingham. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with special educational needs. You will be responsible for supporting students in a Primary School setting, developing their skills and confidence, and helping them to overcome any challenges they may face.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with special educational needs in a Primary School setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • Familiarity with SEN assessment tools and techniques
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or a related field
  • Specialized training specific to SEN, such as a Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (SEN) or other relevant SEN certifications
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in the field of SEN education
