Primary Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team at Primary Integrated Community Services. As a Clinical Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinics, improving patient flow, and reducing wait times.
About the RoleIn this dynamic role, you will be responsible for extracting information from clinical letters, arranging appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments for patients. You will also prepare patients prior to their GP appointments, take brief histories, and conduct basic readings. Your excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities will enable you to develop strong relationships with colleagues, local communities, and patients.
Main Responsibilities- Extracting information from clinical letters and adding it to patient notes
- Arranging appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments
- Preparing patients for GP appointments and taking brief histories
- Sorting clinical post and prioritizing tasks for GPs
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C or Equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
