Job Title: Education Support Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at Awsworth Primary and Nursery School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with phonics and mathematics interventions, as well as assisting with behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to individual and small groups of children in phonics and mathematics
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and record the progress of the children you support
  • Assist with the preparation of resources and learning materials


About You:
We are looking for someone with experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly those with SEN and behavioural needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Enthusiasm for supporting children's academic and social development is a must.

What We Offer:
