Cybersecurity Manager

Insero Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for safeguarding our information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
Key Responsibilities- Define access privileges, control structures, and resources to protect our system.
- Recognize and report security violations and abnormalities.
- Take a proactive approach to implementing security improvements by assessing current situations, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
- Provide backup support for our Systems Administrator.
- Conduct periodic audits to determine security violations and inefficiencies.
- Implement and maintain security controls to upgrade our system.
- Communicate system status and performance reports to users.
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve related results as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, technical experts, and all levels of management.
- Bachelor's Degree required with related certification desired.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of Systems Administration experience required.
- Experience in System Administration, Network Security, Problem Solving, Information Security Policies, Process Improvement, Firewall Administration.
- Familiarity with Network Protocols, Routers, Hubs, and Switches as it relates to network security.
- Good understanding of Cybersecurity, NIST, NIST 800-53, DFARS, ITAR, GDPR, CUI, IP.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues. They should also possess excellent communications, teamwork, leadership, and conflict management skills. Continuous learning and system/security development are essential in this role due to the constantly evolving nature of information systems and cyber-attacks.
