Workshop & Field Team Leader Position

About the Role
The Workshop & Field Team Leader is a pivotal role within our Technology clients, based in Kent. This exciting opportunity comes with a salary up to £50,000 and offers a chance to lead a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically lead, develop, and motivate workshop and field team members to achieve set targets.
  • Ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Support planning and allocation of resources and budgets for engineering projects.
  • Manage training and tools log for all team members.
  • Coordinate engineering activities according to organisational guidelines.
  • Support overtime and expenses claims review and approval.
  • Prepare and review RAMS and job cards.
  • Perform work-in-progress and post-completion audits.

Requirements
  • Electrical or technical background required.
  • Use own initiative and be organised.
  • Self-starter with a keen ability to pick up new skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of power industry, transmission, and distribution networks.
  • Stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority.
  • Excellent administration, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • People management and leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Information security and Cybersecurity.
  • Ability to interpret and use project planning software (AutoCAD knowledge).
