Tendering Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer to join our team at NTRINSIC CONSULTING EUROPE LIMITED. This role will involve carrying out technical and commercial evaluation of tenders to ensure proposals are compliant with customer requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or systems engineering, with knowledge of the power/energy industry, information security, and cybersecurity. They will also have experience in technical sales, building positive customer relationships, and making quick, informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and respond to tenders and enquiries within required timescales, ensuring compliance with specifications and company policies.
  • Develop tender responses, including product and solution security, mechanical assembly, commissioning, procured components, transport, risk assessments, warranties, method statements, delivery timescales, and costing.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure tenders and proposals are technically and commercially viable and deliverable within agreed timescales.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of standard solutions and costings, including frequent reviews and updates.

Requirements:

  • Technical and Industry Expertise: Electrical or systems engineering background, knowledge of power/energy industry, information security, and cybersecurity.
  • Sales and Customer Engagement: Experience in technical sales, building positive customer relationships, and making quick, informed commercial decisions.
  • Skills and Tools: Problem-solving, time management, project planning, AutoCAD, Visio, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
