Commercial Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Contract Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Central Scotland. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading commercial aspects of construction projects, managing a team of Quantity Surveyors, and providing commercial guidance and support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial Project Management: Prepare and submit tenders, estimates, and proposals, negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing commercial guidance and support to project teams.
  3. Commercial Risk Management: Identify commercial risks and opportunities, monitor project budgets and financial performance.

To be considered for this role, you will have a commercial background within the construction industry, demonstrable experience at Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager level within a main contracting environment. You will have a working knowledge of construction contracts and procurement, and experience managing and supporting commercial teams.
