About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor Intern at Robertson Group, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. This 12-week placement will provide you with hands-on experience in preparing bills of quantities, schedules of works, and subcontract agreements. You will work closely with our team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing.
  • Preparing and sending out subcontract enquiries.
  • Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements.
  • Attending and contributing to meetings as required.
  • Preparing valuations with clients and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued.
  • Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings.

What We're Looking For:

  • A methodical approach and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Dedication and ambition to develop within the role.
  • Computer literacy and numeracy.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who is working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. You should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
