About the Role:

As a Summer Intern - Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to put your academic knowledge into practice and gain work experience in a real-world setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing.
  • Preparing and sending out subcontract enquires.
  • Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements.
  • Attending, contributing to, and taking minutes of meetings as required.
  • Preparing valuations with clients, agreeing amounts for payment, and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued.
  • Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings.

Requirements:

  • The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Dedication and ambition to develop within the role.
  • Computer literate and numerate.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is working towards a BA Hons/BSc/MSc degree and is ambitious, collaborative, and determined to make a positive impact.
