We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our growing business.

**Position overview**

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a experienced electrician to learn and develop the necessary skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the electrical trade. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the electrical industry, possess a positive attitude, and are eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.

**Key responcibilities**

1. Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

2. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand the layout and specifications of electrical systems.

3. Assist in the routing and running of electrical wiring, conduit, and other components.

4. Learn to safely and effectively use hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.

5. Support the troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical problems, and assist in implementing appropriate solutions.

6. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.

7. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and adhere to all relevant safety guidelines and procedures.

8. Actively participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems.

**Qualifications**

1. High school national 5's as a minimum.

2. Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.

3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

4. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly.

5. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges.

6. Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.

7. Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts is preferred but not required.

8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
