We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Cheadle. This is an excellent opportunity for a science graduate to develop their skills and knowledge while making a significant contribution to students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver small group and one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance with science concepts.
- Assist science teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students receive high-quality education.
- Develop and implement STEM promotion initiatives to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting good behavior and attendance.
- Graduate in Science: A degree in biology, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and confidently.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Previous Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in education, tutoring, or working with young people is an advantage but not mandatory.
The salary for this role is £419.25 - £500 per week, offering a competitive package for those looking to start their career in teaching or support staff. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive school community and contribute to the development of future scientists.
