Service Desk Engineer

Senitor Associates is seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join their technical team in Birmingham. As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to the internal and external user base, troubleshooting various hardware, software, and network issues, and escalating technical issues to 3rd line support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logging incidents into the service desk system
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support
  • Escalating technical issues to 3rd line
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Updating documentation and support with administration when necessary
  • Providing high-quality customer service
  • Occasional work on implementation projects
Required Skills:
  • Windows Server and Windows OS
  • Office 365
  • Cloud infrastructure knowledge - specifically Azure
  • Active Directory administration
  • Management of hardware
  • Routers and Switches
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
  • VMware
  • Intune
