About the Role

Sword Group is seeking an experienced Information Manager to join our Technical Data Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering data management and modernisation solutions using SharePoint and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to SharePoint processes and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • SharePoint Administration: Manage and maintain SharePoint Online environments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience.
  • Content Management: Organize, structure, and manage content within SharePoint sites, facilitating easy access and usability, and supporting significant data rationalization and transition projects.
  • Information Governance: Implement and enforce information governance policies and procedures, ensuring data security and compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to users on SharePoint features and best practices, ensuring they are equipped to maximise the benefits of the platform.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working with SharePoint, including SharePoint Online and migration tools such as ShareGate.
  • In-depth understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Proven experience in information management, including content organisation and governance.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries, workflows, and permissions.
  • Adept at working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive adoption of SharePoint solutions.
