Job Summary:

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, automation, risk assessment, profitability optimization, data analysis, customer support, and compliance. They ensure a seamless customer journey, maximize profitability, and maintain efficient processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, and automation.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Implement the right tools, software, and technologies to support ecommerce operations.
  • Ensure day-to-day website operations are running smoothly, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and manage dashboards, reporting structures, OKRs, KPIs, SOPs, metrics, and compliance standards.
  • Automate all aspects of the website and ecommerce operations using necessary tools, APIs, and plugins.
  • Anticipate risk factors across operations and build business sustainable plans.
  • Elevate business profitability based on set goals and objectives using marketing and branding aspects.
  • Analyze metrics and data, marketing reports, and profit margins.
  • Manage inventories, refunds, customer support, and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and policies to ensure international standards and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Good experience with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Experience in the B2C digital retail market within the ecommerce space.
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, client relations, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, time management, and ability to multitask.
  • Good with project management, reporting, data analysis, and dashboard management.
  • Able to work within the EU timezone.
Top Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies for ecommerce.
  • Experience with implementing and utilizing ecommerce tools, software, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with CMS blocks and website navigation.
  • Understanding of customer journey analysis and optimization.
  • Ability to develop and manage dashboards, reporting structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of API integration and plugin utilization for automation.
  • Experience in risk assessment and business continuity management.
  • Expertise in leveraging social media and SEO for marketing and branding.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis, marketing reports, and profit margin assessment.
