About the Role

Immediate Media Co is seeking a skilled People Advisor to join our close-knit People Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees, aligned with our company strategy, culture, and values.

This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will work closely with the Commercial People Partner and part of the People Partnering & Ops team to deliver HR services that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the People Partner with our Commercial and Product & Tech business areas, owning smaller central client areas and developing your People Partnering skills.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and manage ER issues effectively, pragmatically, and in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Work with managers in managing performance issues, including probation, informal and formal PIPs, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Deliver the induction for new starters and own exit interviews for your business areas, escalating any issues as needed.
  • Support the People Administrator and People Analyst & Ops Advisor with process improvement, always looking at where we can improve, make efficiencies, and streamline.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a People Advisor in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing redundancy, performance, and disciplinary processes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Empathetic and personable – able to build trust and strong relationships with managers and colleagues.
  • Proactive and a self-starter, who can identify and address issues before they escalate.
  • Knows the importance of process and policies, whilst also able to be flexible and pragmatic dependent on the situation.
