Job Title: Palliative Care Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide end-of-life care at our hospices. As part of this, we need someone to pamper our patients with hand care, massage, and facials, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Treatments: Provide facial, manicure, or pedicure treatments as appropriate, ensuring patient comfort throughout.
  2. Patient Selection: Consult staff on patients who would benefit from these treatments.
  3. Communication: Engage with patients through conversation.
  4. Procedure Adherence: Follow established treatment procedures agreed upon with staff.
  5. Treatment Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy treatment area.
  6. Scheduling: Arrange subsequent treatments in consultation with Day Services staff.
  7. Additional Support: Assist with related tasks when necessary.
