As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist at HCRG Care Group, you will be part of our valued team delivering community health services in Wiltshire. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance as a Children’s Occupational Therapist working with children aged 0-19.


Main Responsibilities

  • You will complete comprehensive assessments of needs for the children.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with children and young people, families, and other professionals to agree joint goals for therapy.

  • To be responsible for ensuring the effective selection and use of all treatment resources available in the department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • HPCP registration
  • 2 years Post grad Occupational Therapy experience
  • Work experience with children in wider settings
  • Broad knowledge of current best practice
  • Competent to use standardized assessments and outcome measures
  • Able to act independently and on own initiative but recognize limitations.
  • Have strong problem-solving / analytical skills
  • Articulate and good communication skills
  • Self-directed in learning and commitment to CPD

Package Description

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you’ll receive a competitive salary of £35,392 - £42,618 (inclusive of NHS Pension) and full Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
