About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Specialist Palliative Care Team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-professional team, providing clinical, advisory, and educational services across our health board. The role involves managing a caseload of patients with specialist palliative care needs, collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team, participating in education and audit, and providing leadership regarding the specialty.

This is a Band 7 CNS role based in Y Bwthyn Princess Wales Hospital Specialist Palliative Care unit, with core hours Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm, and participation in a 7-day roster. The position requires the post holder to give advice to other healthcare professionals, patients, and families, potentially visiting patients in hospital and community settings on weekends.
