About the Role

The Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an experienced Palliative Care Specialist to join their specialist palliative care team. This part-time opportunity offers a unique chance to work in a Band 7 CNS role based in Princess Wales Hospital's Specialist Palliative Care unit.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with specialist palliative care needs, collaborating with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), and participating in education, audit, and leadership regarding the specialty.

This position involves directly supporting and advising patients with palliative care needs in both hospital and community settings. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm, with participation in a 7-day roster requiring the post holder to provide advice to other healthcare professionals, patients, and families, potentially visiting patients in the hospital and community settings on weekends.
