Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our Production Quality Team at AWE. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and related standards (e.g. Health & Safety, Environment, Security).
  • Experience with problem-solving tools and analytical skills.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Basic Project Management knowledge.
  • Customer satisfaction and the tools and processes utilised in measuring business performance and delivery.
  • Good understanding of configuration and change management techniques.
  • Completion of vendor selection monitoring and management processes.
  • Auditing from definition/scheduling through to implementation, reporting and close out.
  • Providing quality resource estimates and budgets.
