Job Title: Clinical Governance Lead Nurse

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Governance Lead Nurse to oversee nursing homes in Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical practice experience, with a focus on quality of care and regulatory compliance.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will review and support the performance of every home in their region, ensuring they meet the highest clinical standards. This involves reviewing the clinical governance database and KPIs, identifying practical strategies to address any issues, and implementing key actions to improve standards month in, month out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyse clinical governance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to address identified issues
  • Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A current NMC registration as an RN (General)
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Experience working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor
  • A strong understanding of current regulatory requirements

Benefits:
