Job Title: Manufacturing/ Production Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing/ Production Technician to join our team at Motorsport-Total GmbH. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and loading our additive manufacturing machines, hand finishing, inspection, packing, and kitting of components.

About the Job:

  • Provide high-quality components, jigs, and fixtures to support timely delivery of the schedule.
  • Prepare machines for builds, conduct routine maintenance, and resolve build issues to minimize scrap.
  • Process complete component platforms through automated wash machines and prepare components for hand finishing.
  • Hand finish components according to our standards using technical drawings or CAD annotations.
  • Conduct fundamental inspection of all components before dispatch to the next operation.
  • Dispatch car components and kitted aero programmes using departmental MRP software.
  • Evaluate the assigned schedule and communicate potential delays to shift lead(s).
  • Identify build faults and inform the programmers and/or Shift Lead(s).
  • Work to standard operating procedures while maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Support team working across shifts.
  • Support the Shift Lead(s) in minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Work efficiently within manufacturing as part of an established team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Materialise Magics, and MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various additive manufacturing technologies and post-processing techniques is advantageous.
