Job Overview

Job Description

As a Band 5 Emergency Department Nurse with Barts Health NHS Trust, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include assessing patients, administering medication, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent outcomes.

Requirements
  • NMC Registration: You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to practice as a nurse in the UK.
  • NHS and A&E Experience: We require at least six months' experience in the NHS and A&E within the last three years.
  • Clinical Knowledge and Skills: You must possess robust clinical knowledge and strong initiative, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Honesty and Integrity: You must demonstrate honesty and integrity, with a caring patient-centred approach.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. However, please note that salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.
