Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Midwife Practitioner to join our Women's Health Maternity ward. The successful candidate will provide total midwifery care for both high and low risk mothers under the direction of the Midwifery Team Leader (MTL). This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of maternity care over a 24-hour period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registered Midwife with a minimum of 2 years experience as RM
  • Mentorship and assessing or equivalent qualifications
  • Ability to practice autonomously in acute and primary care settings
  • Prioritization of workload and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced clinical skills including suturing, cannulation, maternal and neonatal resuscitation

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £43,000 - £56,000 depending on experience.
