Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maternity Care Specialist to join our dynamic team at Whipps Cross Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an established midwife to engage in a rewarding role, delivering comprehensive care across various maternity services and enhancing their skills by working in different specialties.

About the Role

As a Maternity Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pregnant women, new mothers, and their babies. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care to pregnant women, new mothers, and their babies
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development of maternity services and improve patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RMN registration and specialized midwifery qualifications
  • At least 6 months NHS midwifery experience in the last 3 years
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring patient-centred approach
