About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Activate Learning, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of learners with a range of needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in their classroom-based lessons and support self-directed study times
  • Provide support to students with Autism and associated difficulties, including complex needs
  • Work with tutors to ensure the delivery of an effective programme of further education
  • Participate in a co-ordination team to support the development of learners
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent level of Maths and English
  • Experience of working in an FE environment (advantageous but not essential)
  • A level 3 Support Assistant qualification or equivalent (not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
