Associate Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced marketing and communications professional to join our team as Associate Director of Communications at the Smith College Museum of Art.
In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the museum and its programs, overseeing the development of the museum's brand and graphic identity.
You will also supervise the Communications Coordinator, delegate work effectively, and manage projects within the department.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Art History, English, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
Experience in marketing and communications for visitor/customer-focused organizations in arts or culture is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
