Job Summary
We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, while also completing your apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a nursery team to provide daily care and education to children, including interactive play, activities, and learning opportunities.
- Communicate with parents daily on their child's activities and progress.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Work alongside your Assessor to complete your apprenticeship qualification, including attending training and completing coursework.
- Manage your own time to complete required coursework and participate in appraisals, one-to-ones, and supervisions.
- Reflect on your practice and proactively utilise new ideas and initiatives to enhance development and learning.

Requirements
- Commitment to completing your apprenticeship qualification.
- GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2. If not already held, a willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside apprenticeship.
- Previous experience working with children beneficial, but not essential.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with children and adults.
