Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons UK. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging learning programs that meet the needs of all children
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient nursery operation
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Early Years Foundation Stage
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
