Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years professional to join our team as a Room Leader at Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years practitioners in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will be expected to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, plan and deliver curriculum activities, and work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
