Account Manager Role DescriptionJob Summary

The Account Manager will act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong client relationships and managing internal teams to deliver multi-channel content, social, advertising, and web solutions that drive results. This role supports the Managing Director and Senior Account Manager in driving client growth, planning, and proposals to help clients achieve their objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver results by maintaining focus on the efficiency and effectiveness of our work.
  • Build value by thinking beyond production and ensuring our thinking transforms businesses and lives for the better.
  • Nurture an integrated and collaborative approach throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Help, support, and inspire the team to create excellent outputs.
  • Develop close, trusting relationships with the senior team and heads of department to turn client opportunities into solutions.
  • Set standards for accounts and act as an ambassador for the business.
  • Maximise revenue from each client and grow and retain the portfolio of accounts.
  • Support the Managing Director with proposals that sell our solutions to clients.
  • Develop effective internal briefs and work with internal teams to turn briefs into fully-scoped deliverables.
  • Manage tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of deliverables.
  • Efficiently manage client-related budgets, targets, and billing requirements, ensuring accurate invoicing.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and markets, as well as our brand offering, to discuss with clients.
  • Work with internal seniors to ensure the quality of creative and strategic output meets the agreed scope, industry compliance, and the organisation's reputation for excellence.
  • Anticipate and mitigate problems that may arise during delivery.
  • Manage client expectations to ensure the required levels of service are delivered, with good client records, WIPs, status reports, and internal communications.
Requirements
  • Agency experience is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of lead sectors are desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forward-thinking and proactive approach.
  • Inspirational and motivational qualities.
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of techniques, tools, and concepts for strategic thinking.
