Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment/devices, requiring a high degree of competence, experience, and specialized knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, maintain, and service medical equipment/devices to a high standard.
  • Use advanced knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical electronic engineering to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Deliver teaching and training on complex equipment to other technologists.
  • Interpret legislation, policy, and complex test results where there is no precedent.
  • Plan and organize work to meet deadlines and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Good quality academic qualifications in engineering/technology (HNC/HND/Degree + post-qualification training).
  • Honours degree in Clinical Technology/Electronics or equivalent.
  • Advanced keyboard and Microsoft office software skills.
  • Ability to lift items of equipment up to 15kg, following Trust manual handling policy and practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
