Senior Clinical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of complex medical equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the selection and evaluation of medical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair programs for medical devices, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify equipment needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide training and support to junior technicians on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and procedures for equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Good quality academic qualifications in engineering or technology, with a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering.
  • Extensive experience in medical equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on complex devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to various locations within the trust.
