Senior Clinical Engineering Technologist Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, and service a defined range of medical equipment/devices to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve equipment-related issues and improve patient care.
  • Provide training and support to junior engineers and other staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of technical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in clinical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment and devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
