Clinical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical equipment services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of a range of complex electro-mechanical medical equipment. This will involve working independently and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve technical issues, as well as providing training and support to other staff members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in engineering or technology, with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and other technical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Repair, maintenance, and servicing of complex electro-mechanical medical equipment
- Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues
- Providing training and support to other staff members
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Collaborating with clinicians, managers, and other technical staff
- Good quality academic qualifications in engineering or technology
- Extensive additional theoretical knowledge acquired through CPD
- Registered Clinical Technologist
- At least 3 years' experience as a technologist
- Experience in fault diagnosis and repair of complex medical equipment
