About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our infrastructure projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creating a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities, providing information to operatives and subcontractors.
  • Complete diary sheets and provide photographic evidence as required.
  • Undertake material reconciliations and ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
  • Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
  • Produce detailed site sketches and assist in maintaining quality records.
  • Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming, and mentor junior and graduate engineers as required.
  • Control and minimize waste on site, and identify opportunities for introducing new processes and techniques.
  • Ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use.

About You:

  • You will have the ability to work safely and read and interpret data and drawings.
  • You will be confident with standard setting out techniques and able to use Level and EDM with knowledge of GPS preferred.
  • You will have a flexible attitude to work and problem-solving skills.
  • You will hold a HND/Degree and have a relevant CSCS card.
  • You will have office expertise and relevant experience.
