Job Title: Head of Quality Auditing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality Auditing to lead our Quality Auditing Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers auditing compliance to internal and external standards, supporting the consistent growth of our manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all foundations are in place to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure all actions carried out are conducted safely and in-line with the risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external standards.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Quality Audit and End of Line team.
  • Manage audit in sheet metal and assembly to ensure product escapes are minimal.
  • Lead the document control activities ensuring process documents are controlled and relevant.
  • Provide training on quality and business processes where necessary.
  • Support internal quality management audits to ensure internal and external audit compliance.
  • Manage team holidays and appraisals throughout the year.
  • Deal with escalations and make the appropriate decision on acceptance criteria.

Requirements:

You will be demonstrating experience in a quality environment, ideally with measurement systems and processes. Although our client would welcome applicants with an Engineering or similar degree, they are also keen to see applicants that have worked and gained experience in the Industry. ISO 9001:2015 QMS experience would be desirable as would evidence of working to this standard.

What We Offer:

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, a company bonus, life insurance, enhanced pension, a degree of flexible working amongst other benefits. This role is 39 hours per week, worked over Monday to Friday.
