Day Rate: £336 - £585 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // £450 - £650 p/d - Umbrella

Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Delivery Manager - Technical Coordinator to join our team at Rullion Limited. As a key member of our Principal Contractor team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and technical integrity of one of the largest civil engineering projects in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Principal Contractor compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, overseeing construction work packs six months prior to execution.
  • Liaise with the Client and Principal Designer on construction safety matters, ensuring adherence to legal and project-specific safety standards.
  • Manage the Principal Contractor's CDM compliance programme, supporting delivery functions, including Temporary Works, Marine Works, Site Operations, and more.
  • Conduct reviews and acceptance of contractor safety-related documents, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and deliver CDM-related training materials for site personnel, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Provide expert CDM guidance to the Principal Contractor and represent the team at NEC risk reduction events.
  • Advise delivery teams on site-specific risks, ensuring they are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee Tier 1 contractor mobilisation and ensure compliance with safety standards from day one.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Chartered Membership with CIOB, ICE, or IMechE.
  • Technical Membership of IOSH and a Member of the Association for Project Safety.
  • Strong understanding of design and engineering hazard reviews and risk assessments.
  • Experience applying the Principles of Prevention during both pre-construction and construction phases.
  • Knowledge of heavy civil engineering, bulk mechanical erection, and the application of CDM to NEC & FIDIC contracts.
  • Ability to work in a multinational, multi-disciplinary environment managing multiple work scopes simultaneously.
