About the Role:


Infraspec is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Planner to join their team in London. This position is ideal for someone with strong planning skills, capable of overseeing project timelines and collaborating with multiple teams to support large-scale infrastructure projects.


As a key member of the project delivery team, you will play a central role in guiding project schedules, supporting risk assessments, and aligning resources with project requirements.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that align with project milestones and key delivery dates.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with Project Controls and Reporting teams to ensure effective scheduling practices.
  • Assist in the development of project timelines, setup Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and align schedules with Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and project data standards.
  • Facilitate communication with project stakeholders to align on planning strategies and promote efficient practices.
  • Review and incorporate supply chain schedules into the main project timeline as needed.
  • Maintain short- and medium-term project timelines to reflect overall project objectives.
  • Support 'what-if' scenario planning to address conflicts and maintain project progress.
  • Contribute to team objectives, assess performance, and encourage continuous improvement in planning processes.
  • Provide insights to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate project control maturity to inform process development.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience in planning for major infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and project planning software such as Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with project performance tracking methods and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex information effectively.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £50,000-£70,000 basic, plus private medical insurance and additional benefits package.
