Safeguarding Lead Practitioner

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider in west and north Norfolk, North Cambs, and South Lincs. We are seeking an experienced safeguarding specialist to join our Corporate Nursing Safeguarding Team on a permanent basis.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will offer expert knowledge, advice, and supervision to colleagues working within the hospital. You will work closely with the Named Professional to deliver statutory requirements and safeguarding objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the lead professional in safeguarding adults and children in an NHS hospital setting. The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience and significant expertise in safeguarding and working with complex child/adult protection issues.
Key responsibilities include providing safeguarding supervision to staff, participating in the delivery of safeguarding training, and contributing to ensuring the Trust meets its statutory responsibilities under Section 11 of The Children Act 2004, Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 2003, and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and professional growth.
