About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader / Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Chorley. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting a flexible temp workforce, driving team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate the Team: Inspire and motivate the team to meet daily targets, foster a positive work environment, and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify and resolve issues, make informed decisions, and take ownership of problems.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to drive results.
  • Hands-on Picking and Packing Work: Perform duties such as picking stock, packing customer orders, and loading/unloading vehicles.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to motivate and lead a team, and have experience working in a warehouse environment.
