Job Description:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work in a specialist resource base supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to children across three classrooms. The role involves working within an adapted space that includes a therapy room, sensory room, and bespoke outdoor provision.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for helping develop skills across the curriculum strands, including Independence, Communication, Social and Emotional development, Sensory and Physical, and Cognition. You will also be required to create a nurturing and inclusive environment tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. A key aspect of this role is being adaptable, patient, and passionate about working with children with complex needs.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who has experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism or other SEND. You should be enthusiastic about helping children develop their independence, communication, and social skills. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality education for children with SEND. We offer professional development opportunities through Axcis Education. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
