Community Outreach and Support Professional

Alzheimer Scotland is a leading charity in Scotland campaigning for the rights of people with dementia and providing innovative support services. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Dementia Outreach Worker in the Fife area.
As an Outreach Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people living with dementia to establish personal goals and outcomes and help them to achieve these. Our short-term intervention and support service offers guidance and assistance to people living with dementia and their carers to reduce social isolation, build confidence, and engage with the local community.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals and their families, be able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, and have a flexible and adaptable approach to working with clients. A relevant qualification and previous experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.
