Liability Claims Handler

We are seeking a skilled Liability Claims Handler to join our team at Davies, a leading provider of claims handling services. As a Liability Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling EL & PL claims for both personal injury and third-party property damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers to ensure seamless claim handling.
- Investigate allocated claims, gathering all necessary evidence and documentation.
- Determine appropriate actions for claim resolution, preparing detailed reports as required.
- Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits, maintaining professional correspondence with all parties.
- Handle cases in accordance with client requirements, adhering to documented procedures.
- Regularly review and maintain proper reserves, staying updated on technical changes relevant to the role.
Requirements:
- Experience handling EL & PL claims, personal injury, and third-party property damage.
- Ability to develop skills and knowledge needed for the role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
