We are seeking a skilled Liability Claims Handler to join our team at Davies, a leading provider of claims handling services. As a Liability Claims Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling EL & PL claims for both personal injury and third-party property damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims.
  • Investigate allocated claims, obtaining necessary evidence and documentation to determine appropriate actions for resolution.
  • Prepare detailed reports, providing advice on policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics.
  • Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution of claims.
  • Correspond with all parties professionally to progress cases to conclusion, maintaining a proper reserve at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience handling EL (Employers Liability) & PL (Public Liability) claims.
  • Experience handling personal injury and third-party property damage claims.
  • Ability to develop skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
