About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Cambian Shap Road, a residential care home providing exceptional care and support for young adults with Learning Disabilities and/or challenges within the autistic spectrum.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment, enabling our residents to live as independently as possible and participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities, such as outdoor learning, work experience, and social events
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
