About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Cambian Shap Road, a residential care home for young adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live as independently as possible and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, working closely with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities, hobbies, and interests, promoting socialisation and community engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to care, addressing the complex needs of residents
