This exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant in our exceptional care home based in the Workington area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of care assistants, supporting residents with personal needs, and administering medication while maintaining accurate records. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who is passionate about caring for older people.

**Job Description:**

  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents.
  • Support residents with personal care needs and help them participate in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain clear and accurate records.

**Requirements:**

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a care setting (preferably leading a team).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
